At Dolls Inc., we take pride in the dolls we create and the care that goes into preparing every order and want to be sure our customers are satisfied with each of our dolls. Each doll is carefully assembled and finished in St. Marys, Ontario. 

Please review the following policies before ordering:

Privacy Policy

Once you register on our website and place an order, we will collect your personal details. We will retain your supplied information to maintain our business records and comply with any legal obligations. 

We take the privacy of our clients seriously and will:

  • NEVER freely supply our customers confidential information and contact details to any third party.
  • NEVER sell our customers confidential and contact details to other companies or persons.
  • NEVER publicly display our customers confidential details in any form, whether in print or virtually.

Your information will be used for:

  • Contacting you via email or phone with regards to any order you have placed with us, any questions or specific information you requested from us.
  • Creating your shipping label for which we will supply your information to the shipping companies that we are working with e.g UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post and any other shipping companies we use in order to fulfil your order with us.

We will retain your supplied information to maintain our business records to comply with any legal obligations.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for shopping cart functionality, preferences, performance and analytics. We will seek consent for optional tracking where required. Browser settings may also be used to manage your cookies.


Product Descriptions & Variations

We make every effort to represent our products accurately, but colours may vary on different computer monitors, laptops, tablets and phones. Outfits, clothing colours and patterns may vary according to availability. Minor variations in the finishing of each doll may occur as they are hand-finished and not by machines. Accessories and props shown in photographs are not included with the dolls displayed.

Product Safety

Our dolls are made with attention to applicable product safety requirements according to Canadian, USA and European laws. Safety information can be obtained upon request from our help desk. Adult supervision is advised for children under the age of 12 years. Supervision is advised for Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. We cannot accept responsibility for any use of dolls outside of their intended purpose.

Canadian Orders

Applicable GST, HST or other required sales taxes are calculated according to the destination and relevant Canadian taxes will be displayed at checkout.

International Orders

We accept international orders where services and regulations permit. International shipping charges are calculated or quoted by destination. Customers outside Canada may be responsible for import duties, taxes, brokerage and customs fees unless otherwise stated. Customs processing times and foreign charges are outside our control.

Gift Cards & Discount Codes

The following apply to gift cards and discount codes:

  • Gift Card codes can be entered at checkout to be applied to your order.
  • Where the shopping cart total exceeds the gift card amount, the balance can be paid via PayPal or Stripe (credit card).
  • Where the gift card amount exceeds the value in the shopping cart, the credit balance can be applied to your next order.
  • Gift Cards or card balances cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to a bank account.
  • Gift Card codes cannot be applied manually after you have gone through the checkout process.
  • Any discount codes can only be used at checkout and must be applied prior to checkout and payment.
  • Only one discount code or gift card can be applied per order.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping charges apply to all orders. Charges are calculated or quoted according to destination, package dimensions, weight and shipping service.  We ship to the delivery address entered at website checkout, not automatically to an address saved with a payment provider. Please check your address carefully. Additional carrier fees caused by an incorrect address may be the customer's responsibility. Carrier delays, weather and customs processing may affect delivery. Contact us if a parcel is lost, delayed or arrives damaged in order for us to submit a claim to the carrier.

Currency & Payments

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

We have a valid SSL certificate to secure our site and keep our customers safe. All payments are processed by PayPal and Stripe.  Whichever of these payment gateways you choose when checking out will access your personal information to process your payment. We do not store or retain any financial data or card details on our website.  All your financial information will be safely and securely processed by our payment processors.

Stripe

Stripe protects customer data through high-level encryption, tokenization, and strict industry compliance.

PayPal

PayPal is safe for online shopping and money transfers because it encrypts financial data and hides your credit card or bank details from merchants.

Safety Features for customers

  • Data Encryption: Every payment uses end-to-end TLS encryption, and your full financial numbers are never shared with sellers.
  • Purchase Protection: Eligible purchases are covered up to 180 days if an item doesn't arrive or differs significantly from the description. Crucial rule: Protection only applies to Goods and Services payments - Friends and Family payments offer zero buyer protection.
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) & Passkeys: You can secure your login using biometrics (passkeys) or 2FA apps to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Fraud Monitoring: PayPal tracks transactions 24/7 for unusual activity.

Remember:  Your payment provider or financial institution may apply exchange rates or transaction fees where applicable.

Order Changes or Cancellations

Please review the items, quantities and shipping information carefully before placing an order. We will begin preparing your order shortly after payment is received. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel your order before shipment. We will do our utmost to accommodate you with any changes prior to shipping. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled through our normal process. Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method.

Returns & Exchanges

Each of our dolls is carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. Should you have any problem, contact us within 7 days of delivery to report the issue. 
Do not send products back without return authorization and instructions. Approved returns must be securely packed and returned within 7 days from receipt of return authorisation. For defective, damaged, incorrect or significantly misdescribed items, we will work with you for an appropriate remedy by refund, exchange or store credit.
Returns are considered individually, and the item must be returned unused, clean, in original condition and packaging with all supplied clothing and accessories included. 
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, original shipping is non-refundable and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. A restocking charge of 25% will be applied to any of these returns.

Our Mailing List

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary and once you have joined will offer you a double opt-in method to confirm that you indeed want to join our list.  Upon PayPal checkout, you will be added to our mailing list but will not be verified until you have completed the confirmation process to add you to our mailing list. We may send product announcements, offers and updates to subscribers who have provided consent as required by law. All promotional emails will include an unsubscribe option as required by law.

Changes in Policies

Policies may be updated to reflect changes to products, operations or legal requirements. The terms applicable to an order are generally those in effect when it was placed, except where required by law.
